John Shea of Nelson in Cheshire County, is running for Executive Council-District 2 (Allenstown, Andover, Boscawen, Bow, Bradford, Canterbury, Chichester, Concord, Danbury, Epsom, Franklin, Henniker, Hill, Hopkinton, Loudon, Newbury, New London, Northfield, Pembroke, Pittsfield, Salisbury, Sutton, Warner, Webster, and Wilmot) and Debora Pignatelli of Nashua in Hillsborough County is running for Executive Council-District 5 (Dunbarton). Bob Bruce of Candia is running for Executive Council-District 3 (Hooksett).

 

Six Senate Districts Overlap our County

 

Sylvia Larsen of Concord has the Merrimack County towns of Concord, Hopkinton and Pembroke.

 

Harold Janeway of Webster has the Merrimack County towns of Boscawen, Bradford, Canterbury, Henniker, Loudon, Northfield, Salisbury, Warner, and Webster.

 

Robert Backus of Manchester in Hillsborough County has the Merrimack County towns of Bow & Dunbarton.

 

Matt Houde of Plainfield in Sullivan County has the Merrimack County towns of Andover, Danbury, Franklin, Hill and Wilmot.

 

Chaz Proulx of Raymond in Rockingham County has the Merrimack County towns of Allenstown, Chichester, and Pittsfield.

 

Jay Phinizy of Sullivan in Sullivan County has the Merrimack County towns of New London, Newbury, and Sutton.

Name and address for Democratic candidates who have filed to run for county, state, and federal offices can be found on the Secretary of State's website. If you do not know in what House or Senate district you reside, please click here.  All Merrimack County towns are in the Second Congressional District, except Hooksett, which is in the First Congressional District. All Merrimack County towns are in Governor's Council District 2, except Hooksett, which is in District 4, and Dunbarton, which is in District 5. Merrimack County includes thirteen house districts and parts of six senate districts.
